Oferta foarte variata de profile standardizate din PAFS, ofera posibilitatea folosirii acestora in diferite domenii. In general toate profilele PAFS sunt ranforsate cu straturi transversale de fibra de sticla. Rovingurile din fibra de sticla unidirectionale din centrul profilelor absorb fortele longitudinale. Pentru a imbunatati protectia contraradiatiilor UV si conditiilor meteo dificile se aplica un voal de protectie pe toata suprafata profilului.

In mod normal folosim rasina isoftalica. Pentru cerinte speciale avem urmatoarele tipuri de rasina:
- Rasina vinilica: rezistenta la coroziune extrema
- Rasina fenolica: rezistenta la temperaturi ridicate si la foc
- Rasina epoxidica: proprietatii special la electricitate
- Rasina acrilica: fum foarte redus in pericol de incendiu
